We stumbled upon this small restaurant and decided to have lunch there, not expecting anything special, but we were massively surprised at the taste of the food. The whole staff moves like clockwork, cooking and serving at high speed. Definitely a place to visit, but beware, they are just open during lunchtime!

The Omurice here is perfection, regardless of which flavor you choose. Be careful though, you might pop afterwards if you eat the whole thing, the portion size is massive. I had the tofu skin, which had a hint of wasabi flavor to the rice, very tasty and a bit refreshing since the wasabi. Also tried the fish egg omurice and that was delicious too, nice and creamy with a hint of sweetness. Our friend had the Japanese curry one and he loved his. We had to wait around 30 mins to eat here for lunch, but I still think it was totally worth it.

Delicious omurarice! Ordered a set to share, portion is very huge! Had to q for a while before we get to eat. Ordered oyako omurice which is served with salmon and salmon roe together with Japanese radish sauce. This is really nice! We were also served with ham salad which is really nice, ham is good. Pumpkin soup is super duper delicious as well.

The omurice was so freaking good! The portions were really big and filling. There were so many options to choose from which made it hard to pick but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. It’s located near Kinkakuji which is very convenient and everything is very well priced. I definitely would recommend trying this place!

My wife wanted to try omurice and this was near one of the main tourist attractions. I've only tried omurice with ketchup and demiglace. This restaurant served a variety of styles. She liked her mushroom omurice and my beef curry version was extremely good.

Really recommend going here. Was here when visiting the kinkakuji, the omurice with beef was amazing, the salad with egg was aIso really nice. tried omurice in other places afterwards trying to get the same taste and feeling as here but nothing came even close to it unfortunately. But good for you Omurahouse! Open up more shops in different cities i would say!

We had the menu for two persons and the price was great foe the amount of food we got. Also, the quality is high, there is a lot of omurice to choose and the waiters were really nice with us.

Great omurice! I ordered the hashed meat omurice, the curry was nicely flavoured, egg was superb too. Staffs were very friendly and attentive. A shop I’ll highly recommend for visitors of Kinkakuji. 💯 oh and vegetarian option is available too so plus points!
